Piper Zimmerman is a Quantitative Analyst at Demand Side Analytics. She earned both her BS and MS in applied statistics from the Rochester Institute of Technology and recently completed her PhD in statistics at Virginia Tech. Her doctoral research focused on applying Bayesian modeling methods to study physiological traits of arthropods capable of transmitting vector-borne diseases, with an emphasis on the impacts of changing climates. Piper is passionate about applying advanced modeling and data science to meaningful, real-world challenges, including efforts that support a cleaner and more sustainable future.
