Katherine Farr is an applied social scientist specializing in policy analysis and impact evaluation. Katherine rejoined the Demand Side Analytics team in 2026 as a consultant after completing a Ph.D. in Public Policy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has extensive experience implementing quantitative analyses and causal inference methods in Stata and R. She also holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Louisiana State University. Katherine is very interested in the energy regulatory system and is passionate about supporting evidence-based policies with data-driven research.
