Aline Abayo is a climate and energy economist with a Master’s in Energy and Resources from UC Berkeley’s Energy and Resources Group. At Demand Side Analytics, she applies her interdisciplinary training to energy modeling and policy analysis. Prior to joining DSA, Aline worked as a carbon markets database developer at the Berkeley Carbon Trading Project and served as a Junior Fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, where she focused on international energy policy and the global energy transition. She brings experience in landfill gas-to-energy projects, industrial decarbonization, energy pricing, grid planning, and carbon markets. Outside of work, Aline enjoys playing pool and hiking along the California coast.
